Health Sync Terms of Use

By downloading, accessing, or using the Health Sync application (“App”) and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Health Sync provides a data transfer service that allows you to synchronize your health, wellness, and fitness data (such as steps, workouts, heart rate, and calories) between various third-party platforms (including, but not limited to, Google Health, Apple Health and HUAWEI Health).

2. Declaration of Consent and Data Access

By using Health Sync, you explicitly grant the App permission to read and write your health and fitness data across the platforms you connect.

  • Scope of Access: The App will only request access to the specific data types required to perform the synchronizations you configure.

  • Offline Access: You consent to Health Sync accessing your connected accounts in the background to ensure your data remains synchronized automatically.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the accounts you connect to Health Sync. You confirm that you are the authorized owner of any third-party accounts (e.g., Google Health, Strava) you link to the App and that you have the right to transfer data between them.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Health Sync is a data transfer utility, not a medical device. The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The synchronized data is for informational and fitness purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice.

5. Third-Party Services and API Limitations

Health Sync relies on the application programming interfaces (APIs) provided by third parties (like Google, Samsung, Apple). We are not responsible for the accuracy of the data provided by these platforms. Furthermore, Health Sync is not liable for interruptions in service caused by third-party API changes, rate limits, or deprecations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Health Sync is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Under no circumstances shall Health Sync or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or the loss/corruption of synchronized data.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page or through an in-app notification.
